Charlotte
Director
About Charlotte:
Charlotte has primarily worked with children and young adults with additional needs, disabilities and medical conditions. She’s worked in various roles within social care including a buddy, youth worker, support worker and a day services care manager. She’s supported individuals with autism, ADHD, epilepsy, down syndrome, behaviours that challenge and other conditions.
Charlotte started her training journey whilst working as a care manager for a respite service. Here she found a love for supporting staff in their learning and development. And so The Care Training Company began.Â
Qualifications and Training:
- BA Hons in Special Educational Needs and Inclusion
- Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)
- Charlotte has also attended various training sessions such as learning disabilities awareness, epilepsy awareness with rescue meds, positive handling and more
Fun facts:
- Her favourite colour is blue, though you’ll find she wears red things more (unless she’s wearing her navy polo for work)
- You’ll only find Charlotte drinking hot chocolate, as tea and coffee aren’t for her
- Charlotte was a student ambassador at her university. This is where she found some of her confidence talking in small and large groups at open days, colleges and UCAS exhibitions
