Our three-hour pressure sore prevention training course equips delegates with the understanding of how to reduce pressure ulcers within a care environment. It achieves this by improving the delegates’ knowledge of key topics such as pressure ulcers formation and prevention.

Once completed delegates will have gained a much clearer understanding of pressure sores and the care requirements associated with their prevention. They will have a better understanding of skin, in particular, the function of different layers, as well as dressings, aids and equipment used in the care of pressure sores.


The course lasts approx 3 hours


You will receive a certificate of attendance which is valid for 12 months.
