Basic Life Support Training


This three-hour training course covers basic life support training. The objectives are to teach staff a basic understanding of first aid and will cover subjects such as CPR, the recovery position, bleeding, choking and shock. Both theoretical and practical aspects are covered and a “hands on” assessment is also included.



Basic Life Support  Training

The course demonstrates how to deal with minor accidents and incidents that can occur within the work place. This basic life support training meets the requirements off standard 12 of the care certificate and although aimed at complete novices, it’s ideal for someone looking for a refresher course in basic first aid skills.

The main aims of the courses are to provide:

Recovery position

Bleeding – causes, control measures and risk limitation


CPR Demonstration and practice D.R.S.A.B.C.

Unconsciousness/head injuries

Choking – responding effectively and practical demonstration



The course lasts approx 3 hours


You will receive a certificate of attendance which is valid for 12 months.
